I have been a full time Realtor on the Mendocino Coast since 1980 during which time I have consistently been a top producer. My main focus has always been on the ocean front and ocean view part of the market. This includes homes and undeveloped land, from small parcels to large ranches.
The transition from the San Francisco Peninsula suburbs that I made in 1979 with my daughter, Laurie who was ten years old at the time, has helped me in understanding the concerns, goals, and expectations of many of my real estate clients.
Living and working in Mendocino has been a wonderful experience for me as a Realtor, a mom, and someone who enjoys involvement with worthwhile local organizations.
During my first eight years in this area I was fortunate to live in a home on a spectacular two-acre site on the oceanfront. To satisfy the urge to own more acreage, and go through the process of building my own home, I purchased 80 ocean-view acres in Little River. My hands-on involvement in working with the governmental agencies to divide the property into four parcels, develop water sources, roads, etc., proved to be invaluable to me in my role as a Realtor. In 1989 I moved into my current home on one of these parcels.
Previous career experiences include the development and operation of a successful Bay Area Christmas Tree Farm, and ownership of an insurance brokerage. For several years I worked for United Airlines as a flight attendant.
Today's client is often tomorrow's friend. Real estate is a personal service-oriented business. Sharing my knowledge and experience, and being thorough and patient in working with my clients, has paid generous dividends in a high ratio of repeat and referral business.
